Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Building Project Engineer for our Montreal office. The Project Engineer will primarily be responsible for managing projects related to mechanical building design and drafting.
Your main responsibilities:
- Project management.
- Participate in the creation of plans and specifications.
- Plan the time and objectives of the internal team (designers, technicians, etc.).
- Monitor project progress, ensure compliance with applicable standards, control costs, and meet associated timelines.
- Write and review technical studies, reports, and recommendations.
- Coordinate work with professionals mandated for projects.
- Participate in various coordination meetings for projects.
- Deliver engineering reports to clients.
- Inform clients about technical aspects, timelines, and budget tracking.
- Conduct site supervision when necessary.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Registered member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Technical training in mechanical building (an asset).
- Interest in technical project involvement.
