The plumber will ensure that plumbing work is carried out in accordance with the client’s requirements or as per plans/specifications, within budget and deadlines, maintaining a clean and safe worksite, while mentoring an apprentice and ensuring rigorous communication with the project management team.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Understand the client’s needs, read quotes, plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Carry out installations in accordance with standards and issue QRTs for any discrepancies.
- Anticipate the time requirements for the work, verify deliveries (quantities/condition), and keep boxes intact until validations.
- Collaborate with the client, professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers, systematically including technical management/coordination in communications.
- Identify the contractual scope and obtain approval for any out-of-scope work before execution.
- Adhere to budgetary and physical schedules.
- Complete the daily closure with photos of the work orders.
- Validate the quality of the work (internal and subcontractors) at the end of the day and conduct a final review to correct any deficiencies.
- Transfer best practices, ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, and support the apprentice’s productivity.
- Comply with OHS measures, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to the site-specific arrival/departure times.
- All other related tasks.
Required Skills:
- Possess training in plumbing.
- Have gained significant on-site experience in a similar role.
- Have obtained journeyman status.
- Be able to read plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Have a good command of digital tools (email, ProgressionLive) and forms (QRT, D.A.R., tests).
- Be a person comfortable with client relations.
- Be an independent, organized, and resourceful person.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
