Senior Network Administrator

Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Intermediate Network Administrator with a strong background in Microsoft infrastructures. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of networking principles, familiarity with Microsoft products, and the ability to collaborate with a team to maintain and enhance our IT network.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Network Management and Support:
    • Design, install, and support local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems.
    • Monitor network performance and integrity to ensure minimal downtime.
    • Implement and manage VPNs, firewalls, and other security systems.
  2. Microsoft Infrastructure Support:
    • Administer core Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
    • Ensure the reliability, integrity, and optimal performance of Microsoft-centric solutions.
  3. Security and Backup:
    • Collaborate with security teams to bolster network defenses.
    • Develop and implement network security policies and procedures.
    • Ensure regular network backups, and test the backups for reliability and accuracy.
  4. Problem Resolution:
    • Troubleshoot networking and system issues, ranging from user account problems to issues with infrastructure components.
    • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and refine incident response procedures.
  5. Collaboration and Documentation:
    • Work closely with the IT department to ensure consistent network operations and to coordinate any potential changes or enhancements.
    • Document network processes, configurations, and topologies.


  1. Bachelor’s degree or college in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in network administration, preferably within a Microsoft-centric environment.
  3. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and other Microsoft products.
  4. Experience with routing and switching technologies, and familiarity with the latest network protocols.
  5. Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or Cisco’s CCNA are a plus.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
