Description:
- Interpret and thoroughly understand plans and specifications
- Analyze tasks to be performed and the necessary documents for bid preparation
- Visit the site when required
- Take quantity surveys from plans and specifications
- Request pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare estimates
- Maintain communication with the sales department and subcontractors for each modification or addendum affecting the project
- Ensure compliance and quality of bids, adhering to rigorous criteria
- Close and analyze project files with the estimation director
Requirements:
- Technical knowledge of construction materials, construction methods, and industry standards
- Technical education and experience are assets
- Site experience is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Ability to negotiate and maintain strategic partnerships
- Fluent in spoken and written French
- Driver’s license (mandatory)
