Your Role
In this position, you will provide user support (Level 1 and Level 2) for our local and remote teams in Canada, the United States, and Belgium. You will work on a variety of projects, both small and large, demonstrating autonomy, creativity, and a strong sense of initiative.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to local and remote users (Level 1 and Level 2)
- Install and configure workstations
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory
- Troubleshoot and maintain network components
- Administer network infrastructure
- Install, configure, and ensure the proper operation of equipment such as computers, tablets, printers, IP telephony, cell phones, and other electronic devices
Profile Sought
- DEC in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Basic knowledge of IP telephony
- Basic understanding of virtualization with VMware
- RTM certification, an asset
Special Conditions
- On-call rotation: You must be available to work on-call for 2 weeks every 6 weeks to respond to emergency situations, ensuring uninterrupted production in our plants.
- Travel: This position may require occasional travel to the U.S.
- Monthly Work Schedule
- 2 weeks: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
- 2 weeks: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote
