Job Description:
An innovative engineering firm based in Trois-Rivières is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer driven by technical challenges and community infrastructure enhancement. This position offers the opportunity to participate in various projects from initial design through to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and water supply.
- Conduct feasibility analyses and environmental studies.
- Prepare, revise, and approve construction plans and specifications.
- Supervise construction projects to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and cost standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and other engineers.
- Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Use design software (such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and project management tools.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Registered member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for membership.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering, ideally within a Canadian or Quebec context.
- Proficiency in design and simulation software used in civil engineering.
- Excellent communication skills in French, both written and verbal; knowledge of English is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
