File Manager (Lachute)

Key Challenges

  • Reviewing accounting records and financial statements for compilation and review engagements
  • Participating in audits of financial statements or other financial information
  • Preparing tax returns for corporations and occasionally for partnerships, trusts, and others
  • Advising and supporting clients in accounting, internal control, corporate and personal tax planning, and various other business areas (financing, insurance, consumption taxes, etc.)
  • Collaborating on quality control of deliverables to be submitted to clients
  • Ensuring smooth progress and appropriate advancement of engagements
  • Any other related tasks

Requirements

  • Hold a CPA designation in Quebec or be on track to obtain it
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Caseware, Logis, and Taxprep software
  • Good command of French (functional bilingualism is an asset)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and organize work effectively
  • Proactive, resourceful, and strong team player
