Hydraulic Project Engineer – Electrohydraulics (St-Bruno)

Your Role

Are you a hydraulic engineer passionate about high-precision control and power systems? Do you want to actively contribute to the design and implementation of cutting-edge electrohydraulic solutions?

Main Responsibilities

Project Management (70%)

  • Analyze the feasibility of hydraulic projects in collaboration with management.
  • Design advanced hydraulic solutions: power units, servo-cylinders, distribution blocks, manifolds, etc.
  • Model and document systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Manage timelines and ensure the quality of deliverables (testing, validation).
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documents and project tracking.
  • Participate in equipment installation in the workshop and at client sites.
  • Support representatives during technical meetings.
  • Perform system commissioning and provide training to internal and external users.

Technical Support (25%)

  • Provide high-level technical support for manufactured and distributed products.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hydraulic and electrohydraulic issues.
  • Collaborate on continuous product improvement.
  • Deliver specialized training at the office or client sites.

Technology Watch and Development (5%)

  • Participate in ongoing technical training.
  • Explore new trends in electrohydraulics.
  • Contribute to R&D to advance our technological solutions.

Profile Sought

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization or significant experience in hydraulics.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingĂ©nieurs du QuĂ©bec (or in the process of becoming one).
  • Excellent proficiency in SolidWorks and good knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrohydraulic systems.
  • Advanced ability to read hydraulic schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license and up-to-date passport.
  • Manual skills and a hands-on approach appreciated.
  • Technical leadership and autonomy.

  • Excellent communication in French, good level of English.
