Description
Are you an experienced engineer in building mechanics looking to take on exciting challenges? This position offers you the chance to design, manage, and deliver innovative projects in plumbing, heating, HVAC, and energy management systems while enjoying a collaborative work environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Design building mechanical systems, including plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and energy management systems.
- Manage budgets and monitor schedules to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
- Participate in drafting service proposals and actively contribute to the preparation of business proposals.
- Produce various technical reports and specifications, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Manage and support the technical staff assigned to the project.
- Review and coordinate mechanical engineering services in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Coordinate activities among technical team members, facilitating communication and work organization.
- Perform precise estimations and evaluations of the work required for ongoing projects.
- Organize and lead client meetings to understand their needs and provide effective advice.
- Participate in market development.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in building mechanics.
- Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- A minimum of five (7) years of experience in design and project management.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
- Excellent proficiency in French (spoken and written).
- Functional knowledge of English (spoken and written).
