Senior Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for the complete execution and management of your redevelopment, expansion, and improvement projects for the commercial, industrial, and agri-food sectors.

More specifically, you will:

• Manage and coordinate all human resources and project logistics in collaboration;
• Plan and control project costs and meet deadlines;
• Establish the schedule and monitor progress according to the work advancement;
• Negotiate and award contracts to subcontractors;
• Ensure, in collaboration with the superintendent, site safety;
• Follow up on shop drawings;
• Manage change notices and coordinate site meetings;
• Establish and maintain necessary communications with subcontractors, professionals, and clients;
• Ensure the archiving of project close-out documents and compile the project close-out manuals to hand over to the client;
• Perform any other tasks related to construction project management.

• Over 10 years of experience as a project manager for construction projects in the industrial/institutional/commercial sector;
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (an asset);
• Experience in a similar position;
• Excellent project management skills;
• A strong focus on health and safety at work;
• Valid driver’s license and access to a car;
• Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken;
• Strong communication skills;
• Knowledge of the following software: Office Suite, Outlook, Maestro, AutoCAD, Revit, Procore, and General Estimator (an asset), MS Project.
