Your Role
Do you want to design networks that support sustainable urban growth? Are you skilled in municipal hydraulic systems and seeking a collaborative, stimulating environment? Our client invites you to lead technical and impactful urban hydraulic projects at the heart of an engaged team.
Your Responsibilities
- Design stormwater and sanitary sewer networks, water supply systems, retention basins, and water management solutions.
- Conduct hydraulic analyses (network modeling, flow calculations, sizing, etc.).
- Draft technical plans and specifications in collaboration with CAD technicians.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and budget estimates.
- Ensure designs comply with city standards (Montreal, MTQ, MELCC, etc.).
- Participate in project management: budget tracking, team coordination, and communication with clients and partners.
- Oversee construction site work and ensure compliance with technical and environmental requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of hydraulic design tools and methods.
Profile Sought
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a specialization or significant experience in urban hydraulics.
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hydraulic project design and management.
- Proficiency in specialized software: Civil 3D, InfoWater, InfoWorks, SWMM, etc.
- Strong knowledge of environmental and municipal infrastructure regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license for site visits.
