Profile
What it takes for the role:
- University degree in building engineering, civil engineering, or architecture, and membership in the corresponding professional order.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project manager.
- Excellent communication skills verbally, over the phone, via email, and through SMS.
- Organizational and structural abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to find team-oriented solutions.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Lead the team assigned to construction projects.
- Plan logistical aspects of the work and coordinate activities with involved professionals.
- Prepare, launch, and manage tender processes.
- Negotiate and award subcontracting contracts.
- Ensure effective communication with clients, professionals, and subcontractors.
- Administer site-related documentation.
- Attend site meetings.
- Update work schedules.
- Track technical documents.
- Manage change requests with suppliers and clients.
- Promote health and safety best practices on sites.
- Define elements for cost tracking and accounting.
- Ensure project completion and obtain final client approval.
