Profile

What it takes for the role:

  • University degree in building engineering, civil engineering, or architecture, and membership in the corresponding professional order.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project manager.
  • Excellent communication skills verbally, over the phone, via email, and through SMS.
  • Organizational and structural abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills to find team-oriented solutions.

Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead the team assigned to construction projects.
  • Plan logistical aspects of the work and coordinate activities with involved professionals.
  • Prepare, launch, and manage tender processes.
  • Negotiate and award subcontracting contracts.
  • Ensure effective communication with clients, professionals, and subcontractors.
  • Administer site-related documentation.
  • Attend site meetings.
  • Update work schedules.
  • Track technical documents.
  • Manage change requests with suppliers and clients.
  • Promote health and safety best practices on sites.
  • Define elements for cost tracking and accounting.
  • Ensure project completion and obtain final client approval.
