Civil Project Manager

Description:

Our building engineering division offers a dynamic work environment where mutual support is at the heart of our values. We are seeking an experienced candidate with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in designing sewer and water networks, drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment, drainage, hydraulic balancing, and other activities related to municipal engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise technical surveys and participate in preliminary studies.
  • Manage personnel and conduct tendering processes.
  • Prepare budget estimates and monitor budgets and schedules.
  • Perform design calculations and contribute to the development of plans and specifications.
  • Actively participate in coordination, design, and site meetings.
  • Ensure plans comply with guidelines, codes, and regulations.
  • Rigorously apply company policies and procedures.
  • Partially supervise construction work monitoring.

Requirements:

  • University degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in municipal works design.
  • Possession of the ASP (General Health and Safety on Construction Sites) certification card.
  • Thorough knowledge of current codes and standards.
  • Valid driver’s license with availability for occasional travel.
  • Excellent command of French.

Assets:

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience in an engineering consulting firm.
  • Knowledge of network calculation and balancing software (e.g., WaterCAD).
