Financial Analyst

Summary

The incumbent of this position will work closely with the plant controller to support plant activities and provide support to the central team on monthly reporting requirements throughout each end-of-period cycle. General Tasks and Responsibilities

The role will primarily focus on managing monthly tasks assigned by the plant controller, including, but not limited to:

  • Inventory reconciliations
  • Monthly management report
  • Month-end closing procedures
  • Reconciliation of production reports
  • Analysis of production variances and identification of root causes
  • Balance sheet analysis and reconciliations
  • Monitoring investment projects
  • Maintenance of bills of materials and process routes
  • Product costing

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Participate in the annual budgeting process.
  • Support site internal audits for control compliance.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Contribute to and support efficient closing procedures.
  • Attend meetings and calls.
  • Support and contribute to the system integration project.

  • Establish and maintain appropriate communication internally and externally with superiors, colleagues, users, and any collaborator within the company.

Skills Profile

Education and Experience:

  • University degree in an appropriate discipline
  • Member or CPA student
  • One to three years of experience (preference in manufacturing)
  • Bilingualism
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
