Job Description
Within a dynamic team and in collaboration with the project team, the electrical engineer is responsible for identifying client needs and proposing solutions tailored to the specific realities of each project.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Conduct studies and expertise in building electrical systems.
- Manage the design of plans and specifications for building electrical projects.
- Participate in project meetings, identify needs, and propose solutions.
- Coordinate spaces and requirements with clients and architects.
- Ensure coordination with other teams (Structural, Civil, and Mechanical).
- Plan and supervise the work of drafters and technicians assigned to projects.
- Monitor construction sites and project management.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in project design within an engineering consulting context (an asset).
- Dynamism, commitment, and customer service orientation.
- Autonomy in project management.
- Licensed member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
- Bilingual, spoken and written (an asset).
- Experience in project management including fee tracking.
- Experience in managing a team of technicians and drafters (an asset).
- Strong organizational skills.
- High initiative.
- Ability and interest in working in a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD software.
- ASP Card.
