Description
Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for the planning and full management of your redevelopment, expansion, and improvement projects for the commercial, industrial, and agri-food industries.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience as a Project Manager for construction projects in the industrial/institutional/commercial sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – an asset.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Prioritizes health and safety in the workplace.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
- Excellent proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Maestro, AutoCAD, Revit, Procore, and General Estimator (an asset), MS Project.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all human resources and project logistics collaboratively.
- Plan and control project costs and adhere to timelines.
- Establish and monitor schedules according to work progress.
- Negotiate and award contracts to subcontractors.
- Ensure site safety in collaboration with the superintendent.
- Track workshop drawings.
- Manage change orders and coordinate site meetings.
- Establish and maintain necessary communications with subcontractors, professionals, and the client.
- Ensure archiving of project completion documents and compile project manuals for client delivery.
- Perform any other tasks related to construction project management.
