Quality Assurance Analyst – QA (Montreal)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards, in line with the company’s business and technical objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a collaborative approach and be motivated by the continuous improvement of our quality processes and standards. We offer two opportunities based at our Trois-Rivières office, with profiles focused on robotics and/or software.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the product team, cross-functional teams (robotic software, welding process), and various stakeholders to align quality assurance efforts with business and product objectives.
  • Participate in product validation testing.
  • Integrate into the development team.
  • Create test plans and execute functional, integration, and regression tests to identify defects and ensure smooth integration.
  • Track and analyze test results, prioritize encountered issues, and promote fast resolution.
  • Evaluate and improve quality assurance tools, processes, and methodologies.
  • Provide recommendations and advice to the director and development team members to ensure the quality of our products.
  • Ensure that our products align with specifications.
  • Participate in test vision and approval procedures for releases.
  • Contribute to the establishment of testing strategies and tactics.

Competencies:

  • Bilingualism is essential, both spoken and written, to communicate with various international partners (75% of the time).
  • University or college education in a technological field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as a QA lead or similar role, preferably in a software-focused product environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in test automation at different levels (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
  • Strong experience and understanding of software development and engineering practices.
  • Experience in integration and regression testing on complex products is highly desired.
  • Experience in testing APIs, HMI robot programs, and in a simulation environment for various software modules.
