The mandate

 

Larouche Raymond is representing a confidential client in the Mont-Tremblant area seeking a seasoned financial leader to drive its financial and administrative strategy. Reporting to senior leadership, this pivotal role blends accounting rigour, business acumen and team leadership. You will be a trusted partner in the decisions that shape the company’s performance and long-term success. It is a rare opportunity to make a genuine impact in the heart of the Laurentians.

The role day to day

 
  • Lead the full accounting cycle, financial statement production and monthly management reporting for senior leadership.
  • Build and manage the annual budgeting process, cash-flow forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Coach and develop the finance, accounting and administration teams.
  • Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and tax and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and treasury management.
  • Advise general management on profitability, investments and growth initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, external auditors and business partners.
  • Continuously improve the organization’s systems, tools and administrative processes.

The ideal profile

 
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, including several years in a leadership role.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) strongly preferred, supported by a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.
  • Strong command of financial statements, budgeting and internal controls.
  • Proven experience leading and mobilizing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Comfort with ERP systems and cloud-based financial tools.
  • Unifying leadership, sharp analytical skills and exemplary rigour.
  • Excellent communication in French and readiness to work on-site in Mont-Tremblant.
