Larouche Raymond is representing a confidential client, a well-established organization investing in the energy modernization of its buildings and infrastructure. We are seeking a seasoned project manager who can deliver energy-efficiency projects on budget, on schedule and to standard. The role day to day
- Plan and coordinate the full life cycle of energy-focused construction and retrofit projects.
- Conduct or oversee consumption analyses, energy audits and return-on-investment studies.
- Manage budgets, schedules, tenders and the awarding of contracts to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, the NECB and the requirements of energy-incentive programs.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders: engineers, contractors, architects and building managers.
- Track on-site progress, control quality and manage changes and unforeseen field issues.
- Document post-commissioning performance measurement and verification.
- Produce clear progress reports and present results to management.
The ideal profile
- Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience, ideally in energy efficiency or building mechanical and electrical systems.
- An engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, building or construction) or equivalent relevant training.
- Strong command of energy-efficiency principles and building mechanics (HVAC, lighting, envelope).
- Knowledge of building codes, the NECB and incentive programs (Hydro-Québec, energy transition funding).
- Comfort with project management and budget-tracking tools.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation and communication skills in French.
- Valid driver’s licence for travel across Greater Montreal; PMP designation or an energy-management certification (CEM) is an asset.
